Anti-ptosis equipment

In France, these treatment systems are totally covered by health insurance.

The systems are offered in three debt arches. The system is made of stainless steel, the antiptosis system does not cause allergies and is durable. They support the eyeball and are very common in use. The system is made specifically for the right eye and for the left eye separately. Due to its elastical mechanism, the system does not disturb or cause special concerns in the selection of tears and their renewal.

Eyelid raiser

The eyelid raiser, we called it antiptosis, has been in use since 1945 as an auxiliary treatment for an upper-century disease called ptosis or blepharospasm.

Blepharospasm or ptosis, is the omission of the upper eyelid, when the upper eyelid is no longer able to rise naturally or physiologically, it falls down and does not rise due to weakness of eyelid muscles or neurological changes

The anti-ptosis equipment of Robert Mercier helps the patient to fix the non-functional muscles of the upper eyelid and raise the upper eyelid. It consists of a bracket, which fixes some of its part beyond the eye-scoring limits. One tube comes from it with a spring part which can move in 90 degrees. This system allows for a natural change of tears that nourish the cornea of the eye.

The upper-lid raiser of GÉOD OPTIQUE is made of stainless steel, it is very durable and does not give allergies.
